Washed Up

Washed Up

= to be past one’s prime, to once have been good at something, but not anymore.  To be long past the peak of a person’s greatness

Who says this?:  everyone

*IMPORTANT NOTE:

This has not the same as the verb “to wash.” It is also different than the term “to wash up”, when something from the ocean goes onto land.

Ex:  The once great baseball player, has become “washed-up.”  Now, he has become slow and is not a good player anymore.

Ex:  I used to really like the band Guns N Roses.  However, there new music is not good, and it appears they’re “washed-up.”
