Cheesy

= trying too hard to act cool or look attractive

 

Ex:  Everybody’s clothing in the 1980s was so “cheesy.”

Ex: That guy always uses “cheesy” pick up lines to try to entertain women.

Ex: That movie looks so “cheesy.”

Ex:  That commercial is so “cheesy.”  No one really acts like that.
