Calling “Shotgun” =  the first person to say “shotgun” gets to ride in the passenger seat next to the driver. Ex:  Person #1 Lets all go somewhere in my car. Person #2 Yes lets do it.  “Shotgun!” Ex:  This is not fair, why do I have to sit in the backseat?  I “called shotgun.”
