= expression for when someone feels that the same thing is being talked about by using different words
(basically it doesn’t matter because it’s the same meaning)
Ex: Person #1: “I think David Beckham is past his best.”
Person #2: “Well, he’s not as young as he was.”

The phrase comes from the George Gershwin song “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off.”
