Get Away With Something

= do without being noticed or punished

*It is usually used when someone does a crime without being caught, but it is also used in anything you do, that you don’t want others to see.

Ex. John always “gets away with cheating on the math tests.”

Ex:  He shouldn’t “get away with yelling at her like that.”

Ex:  You can’t “get away with murder,” unless you have a really good lawyer.
