  1. Very interesting podcast. I met Yumi many years ago and at that time she had only been speaking English for six months. She came to Arizona to a china painting school and we met in San Do’s class. She is a brave lady traveling to a country that she was not proficient in the language and learn a completely different style of painting. We became close friends and I am afraid I damaged her English skills with my slangs and swear words! It is a good thing you were there to speak to her so beautifully and keep her on track.

    1. Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes, I agree Yumi is a very brave person. She has very strong will. When she puts her mind to something, she goes for it 100%. She definitely inspires me to work harder. I’m glad she has good friends like yourself, who could take care of her. Thanks again.

  2. I’m glad to find a place where you can learn English.
    Podcasts are a great way.
I hnew Yumiko long long time ago and I think we have many things in common.
It’s great to see how much she has grown in all aspects.

    1. Hello Marisol.

      Muchos gracias!
I’m very happy you enjoy it. Yes, she has definitely grown.

I’m sorry I didn’t learn Spanish in high school. I had boring teachers.
I would love to learn Spanish again, and travel to Spain someday.

      I hope life is good.
