Blackmail

= a crime, involving threats to cause loss to another unless a demand is met (usually money)

Ex: The man is being “blackmailed” for $100,000 or they will make all his secrets public.

Ex: Tiger Wood’s mistress “blackmailed” him with intimate photographs of them and threatened to sell them to the press if he did not comply to her requests
